Swimming
We are learning to begin our sentences in different ways. Today we practiced using adverbs.
Quickly I went into the pools .

We are using adverbs to begin two sentences about The Duffy Show.
An adverb describes the way that we are doing something.
Excitedly I waited for the show to start.
Loudly i laughed because Duffy was funny .

The beach
We were learning to add detail to a word group. We added detail to the front and the back of the word group.

The beach is my favourite place to go in summer when it is hot and sunny.
